In addition, the home is a two and one-half block walk to the pedestrian only footbridge over the Deschutes River to Drake Park and all that downtown Bend has to offer. A quick 5 minute walk takes you to Bend's Ride the River shuttle operating in the summertime which will drop you at the top of the Deschutes for a spectacular float down the river. In the winter, the house is less than one mile to the Mt. Bachelor shuttle. Bike to the Old Mill District in less than 10 minutes to enjoy shopping, dining and concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater. A 5 minute car trip (or 10 minute bus ride) takes you to Juniper Swim & Fitness, Bend's superb public pool and fitness facility with olympic size pools, water slide, yoga and cardio classes and state of the art gym.
